Big Mac Bowl

This Big Mac bowl tastes just like the real thing but with a high-protein twist that might actually make it better than the original.

Ingredients

Beef Layer

  • 1 lb ground beef (lean preferred)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 scoop unflavored protein powder

Big Mac Sauce (High-Protein)

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped pickles
  • ½ scoop unflavored protein powder
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Pinch of salt

Bowl Base

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup sliced pickles
  • Optional: sesame seeds (for that “bun” feel)

Preparation

1. Cook the beef

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns.

Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Once cooked, sprinkle in the protein powder and mix thoroughly while still warm so it blends evenly into the meat.

2. Make the Big Mac sauce

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, chopped pickles, vinegar, paprika, and salt.

Add protein powder and whisk until smooth and creamy.
If needed, add a splash of water to reach your desired consistency.

3. Assemble the bowl

Start with a base of shredded lettuce.

Top with the cooked beef, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and pickles.

Drizzle generously with the Big Mac sauce.

Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds for that classic burger vibe.

The Big Mac bowl delivers all the iconic flavors—savory beef, tangy sauce, and crunchy toppings—without the bun. By adding unflavored protein powder to both the beef and sauce, you boost protein intake while keeping the indulgent fast-food taste. It’s a simple way to turn a guilty pleasure into a more balanced, satisfying meal.
