Maple Grilled Chicken Skewers 

 

 

Ingredients (3–4 servings)

 

  • 1½ lb (700 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 white onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Maple protein marinade:

  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 scoop Creatine Monohydrate
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt

 

 

Preparation

 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, protein powder, lemon juice, garlic, and spices until smooth.
  2. Add chicken cubes and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours in the fridge).
  3. Thread chicken, bell pepper, and onion onto skewers.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high and lightly oil grates.
  5. Grill skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and lightly caramelized.
  6. Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

 

Oven option: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 minutes, then broil 2–3 minutes for a grilled finish.
