Ingredients

 

For the steak

 

  • 1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1–2 chipotle peppers in adobo, minced
  • 1 tsp adobo sauce (from the can)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Unflavored Whey Isolate

 

Optional Garnishes

 

  • Fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges
  • Avocado slices

 

 

Preparation

 

  1. Marinate the Steak
    • In a bowl, combine: olive oil, lime juice, minced chipotle, adobo sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and the protein powder.
    • Mix well to form a smooth paste.
    • Add the steak cubes and coat evenly.
    • Let marinate 15–30 minutes (or up to 6 hours in the fridge).
  2. Cook
    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add a drizzle of oil.
    • Add the steak bites in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
    • Cook 2–3 minutes per side until browned and caramelized.
  3. Finish
    • Squeeze a little fresh lime on top.
    • Garnish with cilantro & avocado if desired.
