Ingredients
For the steak
- 1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1–2 chipotle peppers in adobo, minced
- 1 tsp adobo sauce (from the can)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Unflavored Whey Isolate
Optional Garnishes
- Fresh cilantro
- Lime wedges
- Avocado slices
Preparation
- Marinate the Steak
- In a bowl, combine: olive oil, lime juice, minced chipotle, adobo sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and the protein powder.
- Mix well to form a smooth paste.
- Add the steak cubes and coat evenly.
- Let marinate 15–30 minutes (or up to 6 hours in the fridge).

- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add a drizzle of oil.
- Add the steak bites in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
- Cook 2–3 minutes per side until browned and caramelized.
- Finish
- Squeeze a little fresh lime on top.
- Garnish with cilantro & avocado if desired.
