Maple-Mustard Grilled Chicken

 

Ingredients (2–3 servings)

 

  • 1½ lb (700 g) chicken breasts or thighs, boneless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

 

Maple-Mustard Marinade:

  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 scoop  Creatine Monohydrate
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt

 

 

Preparation

 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, maple syrup, creatine, vinegar or lemon juice, garlic, paprika, pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken and coat evenly with the marinade. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 12 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Grill the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and lightly caramelized.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

 

Oven Option: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, then broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for extra color.
