Chocolate Protein Lava Mug Cake 

 

 

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 1 scoop High Whey Chocolate Cake
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp oat flour (or blended oats)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg (or 3 tbsp egg whites)
  • 3 tbsp almond milk or oat milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1–2 squares dark chocolate (for lava center)

 

 

Preparation

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix protein powder, cocoa powder, oat flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add egg, milk, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil. Stir until smooth.
  3. Place dark chocolate square(s) in the center and gently cover with batter.
  4. Microwave for 45–60 seconds (depending on microwave power). The center should remain slightly soft.
  5. Let sit for 30 seconds before digging in.
