Cottage Cheese Protein Pizza

 

 

Ingredients (1 medium pizza – 2 servings)

 

For the protein crust:

  • 1 cup blended cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 scoop High Whey Vanilla Cake
  • ½ cup oat flour (or whole wheat flour)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

 

For the topping:

  • ½ cup tomato sauce (low sugar)
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella (light or part-skim)
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan (optional)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Fresh basil (optional)

 

 

Preparation

 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Make the crust:
    In a bowl, mix blended cottage cheese, egg, protein powder, oat flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder until a thick batter forms.
  3. Shape the crust:
    Spread mixture into a round pizza shape (about ¼–½ inch thick) on the lined tray.
  4. Pre-bake:
    Bake crust for 12–15 minutes until firm and lightly golden.
  5. Add toppings:
    Spread tomato sauce evenly, sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan, and add oregano.
  6. Bake again:
    Return to oven for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing.
