Protein Donut Bites

These protein donut bites taste like a cheat snack but they’re actually packed with protein and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Donut Bites

  • 1 cup oat flour (or blended oats)
  • 1 scoop High Whey Vanilla Cake
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk (dairy-free if needed)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil or butter

Coating (Optional)

  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ scoop High Whey Vanilla Cake
  • Light spray of oil or melted butter (for coating)

Preparation

1. Preheat and prep

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease a mini muffin pan or line with silicone molds.

2. Mix dry ingredients

In a bowl, combine oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

3. Mix wet ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil.

4. Combine

Add wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
The batter should be thick but smooth.

5. Bake

Scoop small portions into the mini muffin pan, filling each about ¾ full.

Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden and set.

Let cool slightly before removing.

6. Add coating (optional)

Mix coconut sugar, cinnamon, and protein powder in a small bowl.

Lightly brush donut bites with melted butter or spray oil, then toss them in the coating for a classic donut-style finish.
