- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 ½ tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 scoop High Whey Vanilla Cake
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Preparation
- Prep the chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry and slice them into cutlets or keep them whole, depending on your preference. - Make the marinade:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, rosemary, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Add the protein powder and whisk well until the mixture becomes a thick marinade. - Marinate:
Coat the chicken completely. Let it sit for at least 20–30 minutes, or refrigerate up to 4 hours for deeper flavour. - Cook:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil, then cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until golden and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C). - Rest & serve:
Let the chicken rest for 2–3 minutes, slice, and garnish with fresh parsley.
